i have a N/A '92 supra and i push it too 7000rpm mine HG has been replaced, engine was retorqued, new venom injectors, old intake was replaced with a new one. all sensors was replaced with new ones, costed me no more then $1000 and engine is running great.
This does not mean you should do the same. you can let a mechanic chek the engine out and see what he recommends doing with the engine like running compression test etc... chek out if the turbo needs an upgrade or new intercooler....
