Default wise opinions please

well ever since i let a kid drive my car he bounced off the rev limiter like 5 times and now it burns oil so its been this way for about 2 months now so i think it is just the valve seals cause it is just small amounts of oil do you guys think its valve seals?? and is it fine if i keep driving my car with it burning oil if i keep up on it and add oil when it needs it?
