The Toyota 2000gt I believe is the most expensive collector Japanese car. I think they go for close to 200K in America currency. But there is only a few left in the world. Other than that you are right Japanese car's do rarely sell for a high price in the end. I do agree with you that the big money is in classic American cars, and euros. Man I would love to have the money and time to restore a 67-69 camero, or an 60's year vette, man that would be awesome.
