Cobra Guys dissin Supra TT

I'm a Ford man all the way but in terms of Cobra vs Supra Ill say that the Cobra will beat the Supra with both being stock but the Supra has more potential just because of the high end limitations of a supercharger. But being a Ford man my opinion is biast but thats me.

It's just too easy to mod Supras, they are made for it, typical toyota over engineering everything. Intake, exhaust, more boost and he's toast...

Me personally I hate mustang owners.They think them stangs are the greatest car ever built. Ummmm get over it its not but a stock cobra in my opinion might beat a Supra TT ... thats a might but same amount of money towards mods and I will pick the Supra TT all day, everyday over a mustang. D*mn mustang owners.

I never liked domestics tuners because they where never about just enjoying and tuning cars, their mission in life was to hate and dis imports and people that own them...



Think of how many people are really ati-imports and think of how many people have a problem with domestics. alright... I don't know mustangs... but how does the new GT mustang compair to the cobra in HP? I beat a new GT mustang 5spd in my all trac... it was a high speed run and i ended up topping out my car *150mph* I thought they were faster then that... now if the cobra doesn't have tooo much more HP then a new GT stang then I don't see how the TT MKiv coudln't beat it... I raced my friends 93 1/2 TT and I beat him............Of the line, hehe... awd :P but yea... once he caught traction... he went bye bye... so I know how fast he was compaired to me... so yea... just my GT4 $.02

If it was Stock VS Stock from a stop a Cobra would win. Supras dont launch as well, they do they just dont hook up. The 1/4 times are better for a Cobra is like .4 tenths faster too. In my opinion a Cobra would beat a Supra, not by much but it would win. As far as a 3kGT a Cobra would win. Heres what I have:

2003 Ford Mustang Cobra:
0-60 time = 4.5 seconds
1/4 Mile time = 12.9 seconds

1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4:
0-60 time = 4.8
1/4 mile time = 13.6

1993 Toyota Supra TT:
0-60 time = 4.6
1/4 mile time = 13.1

On the site were I got my info, it shows the 1996-1998 Supras 0-60 and 1/4 time slower? Thats wierd. Im guessing the best the got in a Supra was 4.6 and 1/4 mile time probally 13 flat.

stock tt supra 6 speed would actually be a good race between a cobra. They are similar in 0-60 and 1/4 times. But what most people dont know about mustangs... their top speed sucks dick. If the race was a long one 1/2 mile or so id bet my house on the supra. (i dont have a house ha ha)
as for the vr4. well wich one? they are all diffrent
if it was a 99 vr4 (legit 99 vr4) then it would be the same as the supra a good race but the vr4s top speed isnt like the supras, its less.

cobras cost too much for their performance imo.
kinda like the 06 eclipse LOL.

I lived in Dearborn Michigan for 7 years (SVT territory) and even some of the guys at SVT admitted that the weak link in the Cobra is Getting it to hook up.
(They though it was a big joke when ford would have them build a 700hp monster for the Woodward dream cruise "Hows it drive? Like a old F150 on ice") The second weak link is when the Cobra Driver shifts into second gear. I always pull away from them at that point (My Supra TT is an Automatic) I love to see their hood dip, then they see my taillights.

first off anyone who owns a slowbra is an idiot and shouldnt be considered any type of tuner bc its the worst bang for your buck in its catagory and the GTO has a ton more potential so let the brainless idiots talk all the shit they want btw the 03/04 cobra is faster then MK4's and 3KGT's (bone stock) but what I want to know is what the f*ck ford was doing all 10 years it took for them to finally beat a 1993 6cyl????????????????????????????
