*revives dead thread* My car started stuttering on acceleration and running rough on idle. So I did a diag, and pulled up codes 25-26. Running to rich, and too lean. Anyway I searched the board and found this post. Before I tear into this and replace the seals on the injectors, is there anything else I should do or check while I have em out?

What I did with my injectors while they were out was to power them open and use a can of carb cleaner while they were open to clean them out. You just have to take a spare plug with a couple of feet of wire and hook them up to a battery to energize the injector open. For the carb cleaner use the kind that has the straw and wrap a little tape on it so it seals at the injector opening and spray till it comes out in a good pattern, usually only takes a few seconds. And by al means use goggles when you do this so you don't get any in your eyes!
Also a faulty ox sensor might cause this too. |

If your injectors are messed up and spraying too much or too little fuel each time. Or if your o2 sensor is bad, like stated /\

OK it's been a week, and AutoZone hasn't shipped my parts, mainly the Injector O-rings... GRRRR!!! Anyway, my wifes car crapped out on her, so just to have something running I put mine back together, I found a vaccuum line disconnected when I was pulling it apart anyway so had some suspicions. Got it all back together and the only thing I really replaced was the plugs, and the rotor <cap, wires and o-rings not shipped>. Ran a diag, no codes all clear. Drove it around for about 20 minutes, rechecked codes, no codes all clear. So it looks like it was a vacuum line causing the issue. I'll keep an eye on it and keep you posted on how it's running. Anyway just wanted to post a followup post about it.
