new deck, speaker problems? also code 12

One thing you may want to try is make sure none of your speakers are grounding out. Some decks have built-in protection to shut off the decks out put so as not to fry it. A easy way to do this is remove your radio, find your ground wire. Get a multi-meter and set it to continuity. Put one probe on your ground wire and go through each speaker wire. If one makes a noise, that is the wire that is grounding out. I would check that first before getting a new deck. Hope this helps.
