haha look man i dont really care about your life.. im just saying to drop all the b s about street racing.. i agreed with you in the first place.. gettin your car up to 125 a couple times doesnt make you a street racer punk.. im tired of fighting with you.. its stupid. if you want to argue with people about street racing start your own thread about how much you hate street racers.. im over it. thnx

It sounds like your dad governed the car. A stock mk3 should top out at around 156mph acording to Wikipedia. Hope you get it figured out man.

you got a 1jz... i think maybe its governed? japanese cars have speed governors on them. maybe theres a way to bypess it or something? like kwnate said. google it

About street racing
I think its stupid and its the reason California is anal as hell about car mods I take my car to the track when some asshat challanges me but I dont think you guys need to yell at him for driving fast to top his car out I do it on abandoned road type or rural areas all the time and ive never even come close to hurting anyone give the kid a break. But I also agree you need to be safer dont even get your car going on the interstate find a track or abandoned road to test that shit. I can tell your not trying to street race or hurt anyone so they need to lay off on you a bit.
