Default Moronic Behavior -

The fix is easy and straight forward - but I do not help wanna be posers who put innocent peoples lives at stake by street racing.

I truly hope that next time you pull this crap - you end up before a judge who knows how stupid and dangerous this idiotic behavior is!

You want to go fast and test your limits - take it to the track - there are at least 3 road race tracks within easy driving distance of you - offering track days. So go there be safe and do some actual racing!

Unless of course you know you are a poser who would get his butt beat by guys who actually know what they are doing!

If you want to just go fast - head out to the local drag strip.

You are a dangerous moron who has put other peoples lives at stake. I wish you had the duty of going to a mother and tell her her child was killed by an out of control street racer! thats the only way you will ever realize how stupid and destructive this behavior is!

whoa!
calm down!
im not a damn street racing poser. lol
actually these were the first two times ive ever had my car that fast.
obviously considering im just finding out that it cuts out at 120mph.
i understand what your saying and im not wanting to put anyone at risk.
i wouldnt have done this if it were rush hour or the roads were full.
both times all the lanes were empty besides me and the other car.
but i know what your sayin.
i guess at the time i wasnt thinking.
so chill out with the name calling.
calling me names over the web doesnt make you a bad ass it just makes you look like an ass.

i do agree, street racing usually ends up bad.
and i know where the tracks are and will be there once i fix this problem im having.
thnx

Default Rev Limits

Carl,

I loved your reply. Mine why was not pointed enough. We have had about a half of dozen street racing fatalties here in the Orlando, FL area in the last few years.

The judicial system got a law passed that you can not spin your tires on pavement, or the old word "scratch off". The speed and erratic and agreesive driving on the streets was really bad here about ten years ago..

The penalty is for street racing is pretty stiff, even for being a spectator. We recently had a spectator killed and three months later the arrested the driver who was driving the killer car.

Like I originally said, the solution is straight forward - but I have no interest in helping anyone engaged in street racing in any way, shape, or form!

and his reply - "I'm not a street racer" at the same time admitting he was "street racing" - laughable. and his defense - It was the first time - I don't normally do it! - try that on a judge or a grieving mother!

Get a life he says - Lets examine me “getting a life” - shall we, at least in terms of cars and other vehicles. So you can go to this website - www.sorcrace.com, and look myself and my brothers up. SORC is an open road race through part of Nebraska - take a look at the results - we have had a win and a second place in the past 3 years. What were you doing with your life in the summers?

And go check this out www.saltflats.com. Check out the “130 MPH club. More Johanssons that any other family on the list, including the oldest member (My Dad) and the youngest member - my nephew, with 8 or 9 other members - what have you been doing with your life? Also scroll through the rest - you should see our runs on the track for the last 8 years or so!

So what does this have to do with Supras you say? Check this out:
www.24hoursoflemons.com
We run the Texas Races every year - you can find us in the results - last spring 8th out of 97 cars. We also ran the thunderhill race 2 years ago , and will do it again this fall. We have 2 different supra markIII we use for this! Check out the Jalopnick links if you want to see pictures of our car!

Oh yah - in my spare time - I ride dirt bikes - including a 400 mile ride through lower Michigan with 4 of my brothers this summer. Here’s a quick report on it.
www.johanssonbrothersracing.blogspot.com

older posts include from the lemons races etc.

So that’s my recreational life - how’s that - does it meet your standard for having a life?
Now how about professionally?
Research Biologist who travels all over the world looking at Bats, Tardigrades, and doing large scale ecology. Lots of publications, just discovered a new species - works in the arctic and the Amazon.

And go do a search on the US Patent office to find my current patent!

Sorry to say that I do not meet your definition of “having a life” as I have never seen any of the Fast and Furious Movies, nor do I play video games. I prefer to actually do the stuff - you know - race cars and bikes, capture Jaguars, and anacondas, travel to the Arctic and South America doing work –

So hows your “life” treating you? Scored 12 million points on “couch potaoto racers” video game yet? Sat in the bathtub making car noises pretending to be actually driving a race car this week!

Carl “If I need to get a life - what do you need to do? Johansson

Lightbulb this thread is way off its topic

wow your one really kool guy!
haha
look man i dont really care about your life..
im just saying to drop all the b s about street racing..
i agreed with you in the first place..
gettin your car up to 125 a couple times doesnt make you a street racer punk..
im tired of fighting with you..
its stupid.
if you want to argue with people about street racing start your own thread about how much you hate street racers..
im over it.
thnx
