Well, I've finally done it!
Replaced head gasket, a lot of new parts replaced too. We fired it up and it runs kinda rough and is leaking antifreeze on the intake side between the upper and lower manifolds, and I have no idea where it's coming from ![]() Any ideas? |

What kind of head bolts and torque values? Did you machine the top of the block? What kind of head gasket did you use? |

I found another 7MGTE head, had some valves reaseated and the head machined flat, not the block but it was good. ARP bolts to 70lbs, Advance Auto head gasket set.

I'm sure when you torqued your head bolts you followed the directions and proper order/procedure right? |

Yeah I followed TSRP order. Well, there are 2 separate intake manifolds, the top one is separate from the lower and has a gasket between. |
