How much? I'm checkin' out a set of stock 440cc's... I really don't think I would upgrade to 550s if I needed to upgrade more things as well. I'm really trying to keep the costs down since and already I'm at double what I thought I was gonna spend. I definitely would like more performance (and probably will kick myself later for not changing out parts while I'm in there) but I just want it to run as of now. |

Ok so something not so sweet happened. The machine shop said the head is warped too much to flatten, and now I have to find a new one. There's one I'm looking at that's rebuilt for $400.
My question, will a head from a 7MGE fit my 7MGTE? Someone told me they won't, because of some different coolant/oil lines and the intake/exhaust manifolds won't fit. |

Well, I've finally done it!
Replaced head gasket, a lot of new parts replaced too. We fired it up and it runs kinda rough and is leaking antifreeze on the intake side between the upper and lower manifolds, and I have no idea where it's coming from ![]() Any ideas? |
