I like the MK4 best, but the new ones looks cool too, just have to wait and see if that V8 power plant can hold up to the legendary 2JZ

MK3 great too, and the most affordable, im not a Supra owner, and never have been, but im thinkin about getting my foot in the door with a MK3 turbo. Then workin my way up to a MK4 TT 6spd, and maybe someday the new one will grow on me enough to get one, like the 05+ tacomas did. Im not new to tuning toyotas, however all the toyotas iv tuned have been truck engines (22re, 22RTE, 2RZ, 3RZ) i even messed with a 1994 pickup that had a 7M swap, but the MK3 and 4 supras are my favorite cars on the planet, for looks and engine. Im very devoted to Toyotas in general, i mean how many of you have this on your left arm???

ICourse I doubt very seriously if the R158 tranny will fit this engine.

I know that every enthusiast of....well everything, frowns when a company wants to reintroduce a new version of a classic.
But I'm going to have to join the chorus of naysayers here. The Supra is, in my opinion, one of the finest automobiles ever made. Toyota should learn from Rocky Balboa. Leave the classics alone man. |

I don't mind the look of the new supra, its objective is to knock the 370z off its stand, and i think it will.
