usually they do one of two things when in diagnostic mode... it will flash constantly or not flash at all
if either of these happen you have no fault codes the 1jz is renowned for it's odd idling at times... no one has really found a specific cause for it... a real pain the ass i know... but i spose thats the sacrifice you make when you decide to leave bhg town and head over to 1j town :P
