I used redline in the last couple I had apart. The additive is a friction modifier which makes the fluid a little slicker so the clutch packs can slip a little easier when the wheels are turning at different rates. Add just a little, take it for a spin and add more if the diff feels tight or the outer wheel looses traction and chirps through turns. Any COMPETENT clerk at a parts store will be able to help you find it. I don't like buying oils with it already added when just changing fluid in an old diff as there may be too much.

oh your asking what should be the base oil to use whith the redline adative cre recomended right? i used lucas heavy duty which worked fine but like cre said my outside tire still chirps a bit but only in wet weather running on my junk tires. iv never tryed any other oil brands like mobel or valvoline or royal purple so i wouldent be able to recomend any

cre your thoughts maby base oil to addative ratios.

People like 6th gen Celicas, Twinkies, seafoam and Lucas oil stabilizer... and they all suck. Popularity means NOTHING.

That said, I do like Redline. A good oil will never need additional additives, clutch packs and some automatic transmissions are an exception. See my previous post about clutch type LSDs and additives.
