Default Need help pinpointing where this stuff goes

I just recently got into being a mechaninc not too long ago and this ended up being my second car and i had to replace a head gasket. its been quite an experience for me and learned alot of this. and dealt with pain in the ass problems. One thing i forgot to do is take pictures of the car before i took it apart and now i am down to a few brackets that idk where they go and a bracket that dosent wanna bolt down. I have the manual and it dosent show me where it goes.

the first picture is the bracket i have no idea where it goes at. the second seems like its and air hose thingy idk i just dont know where it will go at i have the manual and i cant find it on there. im sorry my terminology is bad. and the 3rd is i cant install my pulley properly on the red bracket.

I suggest you start taking pictures before dismantling something and use masking tape to label the articles once removed.

#1 - Upper bracket for the power steering pump.

#2 - Is a vacuum hard pipe which mounts by runners #5 and #6 at the union of the upper and lower halves of the intake plenum.

#3 - Personally I wouldn't have even tried to take that apart... but you got it apart and with a little kick to the memory center you'll probably remember how you did it.

#4 - Is part of the EGR plumbing. It connects at the rear of the surge tank. Be sure to clean out the rest of the EGR's plumbing which runs into the surge tank and exits at the union in the center of the Y pipe.

EDIT: Here's a diagram which shows most of the vacuum hose routing. The hard pipe is all the way to the right. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...spx?F=1708&P=2

#1 That coolant line comes up from under the intake manifold; Runs to the ISCV (Idle Speed Control Valve); Returns to the engine at a small nipple which is part of the lower intake runner's flange by cylinder #2.

#2 Hard to say from that picture, but it is the nipple that the vacuum control unit connects to via the fabric wrapped hose on the bottom? Black plastic unit with three nipples which is mounted a bit above the EGR control valve.

#4 Power steering udle up vacuum source. It connects to one of the nipples on the vacuum switch mounted to the rear of the power steering pump.

Um.... You don't get to pick on the coolant line; It's either connected or you purge coolant all over while the engine is moving. I believe the source for that coolant circuit is part of the coolant hard pipe assembly which wraps around the engine.

The 4 pin connector may be for an auto transmission... If so it'll look dirty and worn all the way around whereas if it was connected to something previously it'll look like half is relatively clean.

The 2 pin connector may be for either a VSV (the ACIS VSV specifically which mounts to the middle flange connecting the upper and lower halves of the intake plenum) or the reverse light switch connector which runs along to another connector which is routed across the top of the transmission.

If the car is not cranking at all it's not the 4 pin nor the 2 pin plugs to blame. Check the two wires which run to the starter: Solenoid power and main battery power for the starter motor.

It's hell to reach with the upper intake plenum installed.
