Yes, resurface the flywheel. If your clutch is that bad, the flywheel cant be in good shape. It may even need to be replaced. The machine shop should determine if it can be cut or not. This is a good thing if you just bought the car, it gives you a chance to give it a good under body inspection plus a new clutch! I'm sure there is more than a few threads about it on this forum and others with specs, pics, etc. if you search around. Good luck.
