On my turbo I think one of the main earth leads went to the bolt that holds the steady bar onto the plenum, whether that was standard or just put there by the previous "technician" that's where I put it back & it works fine from there too...
quote "2 are from the engine harness, and the other are the positive and negative terminals from the battery." ------------------ There are 4 ring terminal earths that bolt to the lower plenum stud as cre said ,but just one point- the battery + cannot have an earth as that would = a dead short... the thick red batt.+ with a ring terminal, which is the only battery + with a ring in that area goes to the starter. (theres a smaller ign + with a spade connector that activates the solenoid too, don't forget that, I did!!!)
