Thanks cre and everyone else for all the replys.
Turns out Toyota Ireland call them Rocker Head Gaskets and there are 2 of them. €15 per gasket and will arrive the next day. I'd have to use sealant and all if I decided to change it myself. Someone warned me not to use silicone based sealant - I wouldn't want to go mislaying threads of aluminium or stuff like that. If it was a second car I would be more inclined to do some of the work myself because it does interest me but I don't have that luxury. |
