Waz up fellow enthusiasts. I just got a 1987 Supra with a 7mge. I want to build it to a car that has more than 400whp. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have no experience in rebuilding cars. This wil be my first project car. I want to keep the original engine as i've read many posts about it's awesome ability to produce huge powere with the right parts. well guys i have a 89 supra na but i want to make to a turbo but i dont want to buy a 7mgte i replace the head gasket is metal 1.5 i think or 1.2 well and now i have 200 psi on my cylinder all 6 of them and i was thinking can i put a turbo or my 7mge what do i need to do so it can work i need your help guys thank you

I purchased a 1990 toyota supra turbo A/T w/ every extra you could imagine (expect a CD player ) for 4100$, yes way more than i should of spent...

Clean body, Clean interior.... perhaps if i hadnt of driven 6 hours after a 10 hour work shift i would of been cohearant enough to notice the mechanical problems... But i wasnt so after purchasing a supra with a blown head and starting my 6 hour trip home to make it to work in the morning it breaks down about 50 miles down the road....

Just signed up for this forum made my first post and waiting for replys to find out what is what on Supra's. I'm hoping to post just about everytime I learn something new so some noob way down the line from me can find out what's going on with his car..for instance when changing brake pads be sure to put one on each caliper with metal hooks to tell when they're wearing and not just on one side..whooops.
