after a year of running great my supra finally started to break down. i have been able to fix all the past problems but now theres a new one that just seems to break me.

the problem is is that the spark plugs wont ignite the gasoline. i checked the spark plugs they're still in good condition, had the starter check and it was good, battery is new only had it for a year, ignition coil is good as well. i really don't know what the problem is. when your trying to start the car it doesn't make the usual noise when your trying to start a car its sounds more like a loud screeching sound. i really don't know what to do. my first thought was the distributor or the wires

so if theres anybody who can help please help

i have had my 84 supra for 7 years it has 197,000 miles on it and still runs like brand new i have had it in the garage for some time now waiting for a chance to upgrade the engine. i found my 87 supra turbo like 2 months ago the guy hit a deer and destroyed the nose, hood , lights , drivers fender. the fan ate the radiator so i had some work to get the front cross member straight again. i will post pics of the progress from start to finish. the 87 had a lot of work done to it when i bought it. the guy had owned like 4 supras before this one so he knew what he could use for it. from what i know he replaced the whole fuel system from the fuel pump to the injecters with one from a 90-93 twin turbo so there is no more fuel rail. he had HKS cams installed, its lowered 1 1/2 in. ,turbo back 3in. pipe to a nasty magnaflow. (all you can hear though is the turbo) K&N filter charger installed, a programed ECU, upgraded oil pump, short shift. i dont know all that he has done but i have the dyno that says 467hp so he has put some time into it. i will pick it up from there when i get the time but my reason for even getting the 87 besides from the insane speed is to swap everything into my 84 once i strip it down and build it back up restored strickly for the strip completely gutted of all the extra weight i can possibly remove. once i get the body and inside done i will swap everything and prob go right for the twin turbo setup. anyway thats the plan and why i came here for any questions i could run into. ohh and i also bought an 82 datson 280ZX 2 seater when i bought my 87 supra but thats another story.

i bought my 87 turbo about a month ago i had to cut the hood off of it to restore the front end where the last guy hit a deer at 140mph. i got it all together and the gauges all worked till the other day and the turbo gauge quit working there is no weird noises from the turbo it sounds to be working fine and performance is still insane so i think it is electrical or vacuum. would someone please send me a detailed diagram of the vacuum lines i cannot find one anywhere. thanks

To all that are thinking about purchasing any supra engine 1jz gte, 2jz gte or anything as such. i highly recommand that you do not buy off these guys. Mike and Asa have no knowledge about what they are selling. i purchased a 1jz gte from them and it was not from a supra. it came from a "CHASER" it will not fit my MK III but they claim it will. not to mention that the purduct has damage to it. my oil pan has a gaint dent on it. when i ask if they will send me a new one they gave me the run around for three weeks. then when talking to Miike about who going to pay for shipping he gets upset saying he wont pay for shipping and hangs up on me. i just lost $1000. if you seen JAPAN POWER ON E BAY stay away. they are there to TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!!! i just hope that they will not RIP any more supra owners. do your RESEARCH before buying anything.
