have you checked for vaccum leaks?? try by the head/manifold gasket & injector rubber o-rings. mine was loose by two bolts did the same thing.

i hope your making the lt1 into a 383 lt4 conversion. otherwise, your wasting ur time and money putting an lt1 in there. a stock lt1 is equivalent to a nonturbo motor with a 75 shot of nitrous.

crap. i honestly dont know. i've got a spare non turbo tranny here and turbo tranny is on the car. i took the drive shafts since i know the autos are a longer tranny. i had an auto supra at one time.

if you dont have a flow bench you can hurt power by doing so. its easier to get an aftermarket manifold. secondly, if you cut the cast iron one too much it can crack when heated.

the key here is, u can use the turbo clutch disc, even in upgraded form. just not the pressure plate.

7mge-t + 7mgte clutch disc...
