fight picking is the last thing that i want to do, and i don't want to upset any one, and ,as i am as old as gods dog ,so is my supra, but it is still a very nice car really ,and i am from north east...

Thank you, thats all that i needed to know ,i shall remove all the vaccum pipes tomorrow, as i am not using the car as yet ,that is if this rain ever stops. Thanks again

big end shells

hello and thanks for your reply, but the reason that i stripped the engine down is the cylinder head gasket had gone and i decided to remove the engine, as to replace the shells just as a precaution...

I have just removed the shells from the crankshaft to pistons [big end shells] ,to find that no 6 shell seems to have been turning inside the connecting rod and end cap , is this a common problem, or...

Check your two front calipers to see if they are seized up , that is the only thing that i can think of as it sounds like 95% of your breaking power is being sent to your back wheels , hope this...

Question oil pressure

As my head gasket had gone , the oil pressure was reduced by poor oil quality , what else can cause low oil pressure , i am also changing the big end shells , do i need to change the oil pump as well...

I know that my head gasket has failed , and have already removed the cylinder head , but the thing that is troubling me is , when i removed the intake pipe off the turbo , it was filled with oily...
