Default help,no spark

i just bought a 87 supra non turbo. the car has good compression, timing, distributor cap and rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs and coil. if i take off the coil wire and put it next to ground it sparks only once when you crank it. and then stops and doesnt do it again until you crank it again. and thing on what it can be?

im pretty sure its not the coil because i have 3 of them and they all do the same thing. all the fuses are good.

thanks
steven
