Did you replace the fuel pump relay??? They have been known to fail when over heated.
How do you know the fuel pressure dropped when you heated the ignitor?? did you have a pressure gauge hooked into the fuel system?? I've onlt replace a handful of ignitors in all my years (to many to say here), and 5 at Toyota.
