Toyota is known to last usually over 200,000 miles. In terms of longevity, they're among the best. However, this always depends on how the car has been driven. The supra could possibly have been driven hard, but if it's a 93, i wouldn't expect to find many with much less than 80,000 miles on it anyways. If you have a feeling there is something about the car that may go wrong, or if it just doesn't sound right, get it to a mechanic before buying it and have him check it out. But i highly doubt any toyota will just crap out after 80,000 miles unless it was launched off the line it's whole life.

Well the orginal engine in our 87 supra had 179,000 miles before the engine went and did it, but i have heard that Head Gaskets are know to go bad in these cars, but we got another engine with 40,000 miles and it runs GReat!

the head gaskets are known to go bad due to the incorrect torque on the head bolts from the factory.... basically have a little money account there to save up $600 odd for when it does go... or buy a spare engine and do the hg on that... when yours blows the head gasket... pull it out and drop the new one in

once repaired correctly they have the typical toyota longetivity
