you must be referring to the MKIV supra's. those were either twin turbo 2JZGTE or N/A 2JZGE. there were single turbo supra's made from 86.5-92, the MKIII supra's. They had the 7MGTE engine. most people who mod their MKIV usually go with a single turbo set-up though, thats what you are seeing i would imagine. they are able to spool up faster with a single turbo setup rather than twin turbo set up.
plus the plumbing for a twin turbo is quite confusing in my mind, lol. it looks like a maze of vacuum, intake, exhaust and wires to me.
