with a supercharger you still need some electronics, its not like its an intake which is a simple bolton you can put in and forget about, a turbo requires a litle more maintenance like oil press, oil temp, boost levels, and a lot of guages to monitor its performance, but supercharger also needs some of these things especially oil press and temp, and you will also need to monitor the boost levels so there are no unexpected surges, gotta watch out for backpressure thats a biatch, a turbo needs a turbo timer to cool whereas a supercharger doesnt, there are plusses to putting a turbo in and plusses to putting a supercharger in, both need electronics to run properly, especially either a piggyback or a standalone, ive seen a friend blow his motor because of a boost surge from a supercharger because he did not monitor the engine vitals, dont worry though...it was one of those crappy firebirds from teh 80's
