I believe it will bolt up, but if I recall correctly the Turbo's had a beefer tranny from the factory then the NA Supras. It might work...but I don't think it will take the strain for long. Get the tranny rebuilt by a good shop (I believe marlincrawler.com does them, and yes it's for trucks, but they used the same trannys in the later model trucks, and he rebuilds em stronger and his price was a LOT lower than the local shops in my area). Or just look for one of the trannys from one of the later model trucks (NOT a 4x4, as the input shaft is different so it can mount to the transfer case). I was going to buy a Supra with a messed up tranny so I found out as much info as I could on this...

BUT, it might not be the tranny, it COULD be the clutch system. Clutch might need to be replaced, your slave/master clutch system might be bad, or it might be low on fluid causing it not to disengage the clutch all the way.
