Question Optimal Size

What is the best size for a wheels on a supra mk4 not width size just diameter and what would be a good wheels and tires combo for it? The guy at the shop said I should stay as close as possible to stock because the car will ride better and I wont have any problem with retuning the speedometer.

I was thinking about getting these:

They are VR1's from http://www.forgeline.com/wheels/vr1.html and they come in 18x11 and 18x13 and a relatively light and a bit expensive

Whoa. You know a 13" wide rim won't work unless you're running a widebody, or at least flares, right?

Fwiw, I generally agree with the advice you got the guy at that shop. If the offsets on those rims are correct, and you have flares or widebody, those rims are a good combo for the jza80 chassis.

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
