If it's the supra turbo transmission that you already have, just get it rebuilt and you're good to go. These transmissions can take a pretty good beating. It'll cost less in the end to get the current one rebuilt. You'll need a custom bellhousing, custom driveshaft, and custom mounts for the T-56 which will cost $$$.

Nope, only 6 speeds. The 5 speed MKIV supra is a beefed up W58 tranny that the nonturbo MKIII supras used. The R154 (the one I was refering to) is pretty damn strong. I'd guess it can hold about 800+ ft/lbs of torque when it's rebuilt.
