Lexus & 550's

I always hear people talking about using a lexus AFM(if i recall correctly)
What are the benefits in this also will it work all the way up to 450hp? paired with 550cc injectors will work for my goal of 450? Anyone have a brand to suggest for the injectors? Or will i need a full fuel package all at once with the injectors and AFM? this a good deal http://www.suprastore.com/fuelpackages.html ? rc 550cc, rc clips, wal gss341, aei 13109, tms fprgauge, tms 7m fprkit all for 860 Anyparts i need to think about replacing that wont hold up under the strain?
