Default My exhuast noise changes.....why???

On somedays my car will be quiet meaning that the idle is quiet its even quiet when i give it gas (still sounds really good but just not stuipd loud) i took out the resenator so i know the sound will change but that was done with my exhuast was done. But somedays the exhaust will sound so damn loud. sometimes it will sound really deep and loud at idle and when i give it gas it can cause u to go deaf

Does anybody elses supra do it too.

Most changes are simply perceptual. In some cases it's a matter of the environment. My car sounds loud as hell in the city or on the highway as there are more objects to reflect the sound than when I'm out driving in the middle of nowhere. Humidity and temperature can also change effect how the air is moving through the engine and as such change the sound of the exhaust. More often than not I think the difference is perceptual... but yeah, I notice it too. Today in fact.

I know what you mean. My exhaust is still too loud for me. My friends think it sounds great, but I'd rather have it whisper quiet. I still need to add a resonator though, hopefully that'll tone things down enough to suit my tastes.

Well mine is quieter than I would have thought. I have a HKS supper dragger and when I had it on my 7M n/a it was really deep and not too loud but sounded really good. Now that I got the 1JZ in my car it quieter. Actually at all power ranges quieter and I have a test pipe so it is pretty much straight back cept the HKS small single chamber and the big can at the back. I wonder if I up the boost if it will get louder prolly not knowing my luck.

If you have the cat on, you may have broken/problem inside it. If you muffler is a reg. or chambered type, you may have something broken inside that moves around and blocks/openup the flow.
