My supra does a similar thing.

Its definately a case of Oldcaritis.

Seriously unless you want to re-do the tran synchro's rear end ring and pinion gears and a plethera of other things...

I can rotate my driveshaft almost 1 1/2" back and forth in geat with the engine off...

I'd go with Supermacist's suggestion or you'll end up like me...
