You need to get rid of this car and buy something you can work on.
Or you need to put it in the garage and tear it apart and fix the whole damn thing. |

Try bleeding your clutch slave cylinder on the tranny. My 86.5 did the same thing the clutch wasnt fully letting up thats prolly the clunk you are hearing. Other than that, wellllll you prolly dont want to hear other than that cause supramacist is prolly right tear it all apart thats what I did to my current markIII.

I only say that because you have many many problems and they are throughout the auto. You can fix them 1 by 1 but the inevitable will only be held at bay for so long.

OOOpppps my bad I thought he was talking bout a 5 spd. A clunk then would be bad and go with what supramacist is telling you auto shifting clunks arent good and usually it is doing more damage everytime it does it. Prolly a bad planetary or sumthin. Also probably gonna be costly to rebuild I know usually autos are not fun and require a few special tools. Well I say special but you can make them your self if you try.

It's got to be the clutch the pressure plate and or the throw out bearing.
That's where I would look if it were my ride. You could get lucky and it be your main carrier bearing has dumped. In the round about center of your drive shaft. Those things are like 280 bucks. |
