ok.....so i went ahead and tried a higher amp fuse. tried the 25A, and the wipers worked once then it blew haha.
put in a 30A, and they work now. so im guessing the spike is just barely over 25A. so i have a 30A in there right now. should i keep it in? or is this going to fry or screw up wiring in the future?? |

So do you want to know how to fix your problem or not? Here in the professional automotive technician trade, we use a tool called a multimeter to solve electrical problems. We don't put higher amperage fuses in, that's what hacks do. And yes, it will cause a fire. I don't care if you believe me or not, it's the truth. You don't have to take my word for it, as you are hell bent on using a 30A fuse in a 20A rated circuit. Some people have to learn the hard way.
And I said circuit not circuit board. |
