I have the infamous starter ghost myself.
I got so fed up I put a hot jumper to the battery then through a heavy gauge push button and to the starter with 12 gauge wire. Voila... no more issue. I just have to be careful of valets and car washes if the beast wont start. I replaced batteries, alarms, by passed the hood and no luck. Mine is an auto so I was stranded each time until "it" decided to start. This is the only sure fire technique to get started in a pinch. Jim
