carefull running the car with a shimmed wastegate as ive heard it can lean you out. as for the mirrors, why not just replace the whole assembly?

I think by replacing the whole assembly he means the inside of the mirror, motor and all. Not the plastic covering thats painted.

You can buy just the glass (plastic0. A auto glass shop can do it too.
