I've taken it off at least 3 times already. I've found the best way at it is to go from the bottom for both bolts. The bottom one is easy. For the top one, just reach over and feel where the bolt is and then put a ratchet up there handle first and just mate it to the bolt. Not much room to loosen it but it will work.
Order the 89+ starter. The bolt holes are threaded which eliminates the need for the nuts. It'll be a much easier install. |
