#1 wtf is a 3S? #2 im pretty sure u wont find a 1990 vr4 seeign as tahts around the year we r comparing the "almighty" vr4 too. if u want to take ur year car..lets say a 1994 vr4. then we would pin it up against our 94 model. a supra tt. hmm now lets see

Dude...you had to be joking when you said this. You sound like my 13 year old sister when shes trying to make fun of someone. I won't believe you if you said you were serious...I simply have no explanation for this behavior coming from someone whose old enough to drive.

And if you're basically comparing Toyota to Mitsu I would obviously go for the MKIV Supra simply becuase of power + handling vs. (eh) power + no handling. The threadstarter is comparing MKIIIs to VR4s/Stealths.

The VR4 is not really "almighty"...a lot of members on 3SI have projects that had just went to shit because they would rebuild a motor and spin a bearing in 5000 miles, or go from NA to TT and spin a bearing...not to mention the cars handle like ass. Obviously now if you want to go fast only in a straight line you're better off getting a 5.0 or T/A unless you're really into the cars...

3S = 3000GT/Stealth.
3SI = 3000GT/Stealth International = 3SI/org, the message board.

once again you're comparing a car in the year 1986/1987 to a car in the mid '90's...of course the stealth is gonna look more appealing to some people driving down the road and in the cockpit. newer technology.... take the mid 1990 supra vs the mid 1990 stealth and see what you get as in looks wise. the supra looks a lot better i know.


i also believe the threadstarter was interested in mkiii's or 3000gts, NOT stealths.

Doesnt matter. The 3kgt and the stealth are pretty much the same cars in their own respects. And I'm pretty sure he posted those pics to show similarity. They used to call the MKIIIs a Toyota 3000gt in Japan. Makes you think doesnt it? It looks like a newer body and interior style of a MKIII. Except AWD or FWD.

Wow, its really amazing how pussy hurt you guys get over this. I know its an older car vs. a newer car. I never said that Toyota sucks at making cars, I'm simply showing how much nicer a 3S is than an MKIII. Meaning its in an entirely different class.

And no, I am not comparing it to a car made in the mid 90s. My car was made in 92, and a 91 Stealth would look the exact same way. You're not really helping yourself by saying he was talking about 3000GTs, as the first gen 3000GT looks much more aggressive and exotic compared to a first gen Stealth. The interiors are identical.

What exactly are you trying to prove? In my opinion, the supra looks better in both pictures. Which then comes to show that 3/S vs mk3 supra is purely down to personal opinion. They both may or may not be appealing to a certain person and they can both be fast.

chicago still isnt anywhere close to the two coasts when it comes to racing

basically there's two types of obvious racers here
you got the poor that pours blood, sweat, and tears to thier cars
(mostly hatchback civics, nissans, old rx7's, mitsubitshi's)
these are the pple that i race with, we down here dont really have that much to show for cars except the time that we put in it

then you got , the rich pple that has money pouring out of thier pockets
benzes, bmw's, new rx7's, tt supras, evo's, even saw a couple of skylines in there
those are the pple that i hate, pple that jus jump into racing, and dont know shit
those kids that drive thier daddy's car like they bought themselves

dont get me wrong i bet i can find a civic that will kill a vette
but those two worlds barely clash, without something horrible happening
cus the last time i saw them race
it was a idk what year hatch civic, vs a 03 supercharged mustang
the kid raced for slips, and when he lost he tried driving away
all i heard was sum gunshots, and police sirens after that
thats why i jus wanna know how supras do with vette's
