hmm, Do you mean air shoots through a tube is the ticking sound? if not, Then id def say you have a boost leak. Replace all your intake tubing. And make sure your air bypass valve is holding boost, Just blow into it and see if it holds. And if you rule out all those things, You might need a new turbo. But i would doubt it if its not smoking or leaking oil.
