Clicking, Maybe a valve, rod knock, detonation, Things like that. As for boost, make sure you intercooler/air pipes arent leaking. Maybe hard to see sometimes, But check as best you can. And does your car smoke at all? could be a bad turbo...but i dont have much experience with toyota turbos. The valve cover gaskets arent hard to change, Just get the gaskets, take the throttle body off, and unscfrew em. Might as well change the plugs while your in there, Cause the TB blocks 2 of them.
