just make sure that your radiator is higher than any other point of your car... so the radiator is top most... so radiator filler is higher than the engine
so jack her up till she's about that height

what sort of intake do you have on ur car.. is it stock? if so try changing your filter... that may be an attribute to your gutless issues...

don't drill the hole in the thermostat just yet... i don't believe that's your problem.. have you changed your radiator cap at all? or is it a crappy old one lol

in my opinion... don't put a flush thru your engine... if it is worn and got lots of gunge build up the flush may not clean it out of the engine.. rather just move it around and clog up things

do a block check to find out if there are exhaust gasses in your water

local mechanic should have this or local parts store... takes bout 10mins to do

let us know how you go after this and i'll think up some more radical ideas
