The 1jz vvti has a intake cam that changes with Rpms when the nonvvti doesn't but has two turbo instead. They r both 2.5liters. I think the nonvvti uses a map sensor and the vvti still uses the afm. Same goes for the 2jz but that is a 3.0 liter and both vvti and non vvti have 2 turbos
