well looks to be in the right position.... you could unscrew it... pull it out and just wiggle the floater to max and min and see if it frees it up
while you're there you can see how much petrol is really in ur tank ![]()

i had to remove mine from the tank and carefully scratch off the "varnish" on the wrapped wire that the sender rod rubs on for it to make contact, Its been working now for 2 yrs with no issues
