Default Weird problem! Need HELP!!

So I just rebuilt my 7mgte and got it to idle good, but it would hit fuel cut at 2000 rpm, so I asked a friend who as one and he said check the throttle position sensor so I replaced it with an extra one I had and did the same thing. So then I just unplugged the TPS and it ran perfect! It would rev to redline and runs great! Lol what's the problem? Should I even worry about it?

get onto the tsrm & read up about calibrating the tps, and also how to read codes.

Oh, and the likely reason you got no reply previously is because people appreciate it when you use the search facility since they get tired of repeating simple fixes when they've been here a while... (so what's my excuse? I'm bored lol)

Another problem... I fixed the tps but now when I'm driving it will accelerate smooth til about 3 or 3500 rpm then will kind of bog down/hesistate and not accelerate much after that.. what could be the problem? Boost leak or not enough fuel?

is your timing correct? are you using the correct fuel pressure?
what upgrades / mods did you do to it..
if you unplug the tps does the problem go away?

Timing is set to factory 10* btdc. Mods I'm running are 2.0mm headgasket, Greddy bov that is recirculated, 3in turbo back exhaust and an upgraded front mount intercooler. And the problem still occurs when the tps is unplugged. I'm thinking its a boost leak but I've tripple checked all the unions in the system...

And as far as fuel pressure, I'm running stock fuel pump and stock pressure regulator and there's no gauge so I'm not sure what the pressure is. The regulator is running on the stock vaccum location also. And as far as boost its stock pressure.

nothing you've done points to low fuel pressure.
what codes do you have.

The only code is 11. Which I looked up and is intermittent power failure to the ecu. So I reground the ecu wires but it still happens..
