if you do it yourslef around 400-600 bucks for head alone (im in canada so may be cheaper down in the usa) since all you need is the gasket set and a machine shop to plane the head. if the head need anymore work than a resurface it can get pricey. normally the block doest need the resurface as cast is alot harder to warp than aluminum. just clean it really well
