i hav a 1990 turbo manuel. and iv gotten tha head checked they said my engine is weak and might need a whole new engine. When i first got it tha cooling meter or whatever it is was going up sayin it was gettin hott. then when i pulled over there was sum leakage and lil bit of smke (not much tho).
