I have a friend that patented a way of getting (umm.. Im not him... so let me see if I can explain it) 1 HP using 1/4 the electricity previously thought as the min requirement. (again.. I am not the engineer.. just the delivery guy.. lol)
I wonder if the technology could be merged with what you are doing. I could PM you his email if you want to try to contact him (if interested). I dont truly understand it, but according to our discussions, it would enable a person to build a car that could do 1000 miles fairly easy.. but I have no idea on the tech specs.
