clutch pedal problem

once again, CRE to the rescue! I just spent about 1hr checking my pedal system. besides the extreme amount of rust on everything it all checked out i even checked the connection rod and freeplay. just to admit a mistake which is the first thing I should have checked the master cylinder fluid level. it was bone dry, for some reason i figured the brake cylinder resovior was the clutch resiovior. i never thought it was so small. located right of the brake cylinder. I'm going to fill it up, bleed the clutch line and hopefully everything will be good.

now what also confused me is the type of fluid both looked the same, maybe brake fluid? does a 7mgte use dot 3 brake fluid in clutch?
what fluid is reccomended for 7mgte clutch?
