Default 1jz-gtte tranny question???

I have a 7mgte engine in my supra now and its blown. I am going to swap it to a 1jz engine and was wondering if my tranny from the 7m would fit on the 1jz engine ??? If not what are the possibilites i could do without having to buy a tranny???? Help PLEASE!!!!

Is this a 5 speed or auto? If 5 speed, then the transmission can work, you would just need a bellhousing for the 1JZ. Both engines used the R154 transmission, just the alignment of the bolts where it connects to the engine block are different.
