my 1jz cuts out at 120mph??

I would guess your car has a builtin rev limiter to keep you from blowing your engine.

I own an "87 MKIII n/a. I have driven fast and have the tickets to prove it. As a teenager I lived a relatively small town I did some some street drag racing. But, for your safety and the safety of others I suggest that you do not race on the street unless you want to go to jail after killing some one.

In Florida it is against the law to spin your tires on the road. A mandatory appearance before the judge. I do not know what the penalty would be.

and i slammed into 4th @ around 80mph then drove it uyp to 120mph and it just cut out so i switched to 5th and got to 135mph and it cut out again..?

this time i had fuel and i wasnt even gettin into it..
i have no clue to what would cause this..?
it doesnt smoke when it happens or anything..
it just cuts out..
